Cambodi
Pursat, Cambodia
Sweet and fruity, with plum, honey and soft leather. The gentlest door into oud and the soul of Layl Cambodi.
Al Seef · Dubai Creek
Agarwood rested for twelve years in teak chests, then distilled slowly over copper. Oils, perfumes and bakhoor made the old Emirati way, delivered to your door.

Scent finder
Our perfumers in Al Seef ask every guest the same three things before opening a single bottle. Answer them here and we will set one aside for you.
On agarwood
When an Aquilaria tree is wounded, it heals itself with a dark, fragrant resin. Decades later, that scar becomes oud: the most precious wood in the world.
Pursat, Cambodia
Sweet and fruity, with plum, honey and soft leather. The gentlest door into oud and the soul of Layl Cambodi.
Assam, India
What the souk simply calls Indian oud: deep, barnyard and leathery, opening over hours into cedar and spice. Worn by those who mean it.
Eastern Thailand
Bright, green and resinous with a whisper of incense. We fold it into our bakhoor so the smoke stays clean in the majlis.
The ritual
An Emirati scent is never one thing. Oil anchors, perfume lifts, and smoke wraps it all in the fabric.
After a shower, touch one drop of oud oil to the wrists, behind the ears and the base of the throat. Do not rub; let it bloom.
Give the oil sixty seconds to settle into the skin so it becomes the base note, not a competitor.
Two sprays of Saffron Majlis or Rose Taifi over the same points. The oil holds the perfume for twice as long.
Pass your kandura or abaya over a mabkhara of Bakhoor Al Areesh. The fabric carries your trail all evening.
